Yontec'er Guy: "Don't hesitate, just do it!"

After Ford closed, Guy went looking for a new challenge. That's how he ended up at Yontec 9 years ago. Today he is part of the Yontec family as a troubleshooting technician.

What convinced you to join Yontec?

Guy: My career started at Ford. And with the closure of that, I started looking for a new challenge. Then Davy and I met and we had a very pleasant, warm and reassuring conversation. I immediately felt then that I was still worth something and could mean something. And so it happened.

Could you also describe the corporate atmosphere that way, pleasant and warm?

Guy: Yes indeed. The interaction with colleagues is fantastic. We don't work together with many colleagues, but when we are together at a barbecue or during a Yontec café, the atmosphere is always good. Experiences and anecdotes are always shared. And certainly not just about work!

And what about contact with management?

Guy: Fantastic. I never actually thought of Davy as my boss. That's more like a friend. We can talk and consult well with each other professionally. But also on a family level. He is always ready for a coffee and a chat.

You talked about a barbecue and Yontec cafe, are there any other such initiatives?

Guy: There are a lot of fun times. We regularly do a Yontec cafe but also sports games, we go bowling or we have the big family brunch. And that's always 100% in order! That bond between colleagues and bosses, that's really unseen. Phenomenal.

Why would you recommend someone else to work at Yontec?

Between the machines or behind the desk, we can always use new people with the Yontec vibe. Are you interested in one of our vacancies or would you like to convince us spontaneously? Then visit our vacancies page!

Will there be perks to that?

Guy: Yes, everything you can think of! The car can be used privately indefinitely, as long as we maintain it properly. That's already a very big advantage. We also get eco- and meal vouchers, DKV insurance, and as a person over 50 you get an extra day's leave. Not bad, right?

And if you had to describe the company in three words?

Guy: Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic!

That's clear! Anything you want to add yourself?

Do! It's very pleasant working here. Just go talk to Yontec, it's as simple as that.
