Yontec has acquired Limburg-based consultancy ME+, strengthening its expertise in strategic asset management, maintenance excellence and technical organisational development. Founder Ronny Hamblok is joining Yontec and has been appointed Business Lead Asset Strategy. With this acquisition, Yontec is taking an important step in its transformation from a provider of technical capacity into an integrated Technical Performance Solutions Partner. Going forward, the industrial services company will bring together asset strategy, engineering, data, technology and technical execution within a single service model.
As a result, Yontec aims not only to support industrial companies with specialised technical professionals, maintenance services and interventions, but also to help shape how they manage, optimise and future-proof their assets. “Today, our customers are looking for more than additional technical capacity,” says Davy Jonckers, CEO of Yontec. “They expect a partner who shares responsibility for the availability, reliability, costs and risks of their assets. By combining ME+’s expertise with our operational capabilities, we can take on that responsibility—from strategy through to execution.”
ME+ was founded in 2023 in response to a clear market need. Many industrial companies have access to large volumes of technical data and expertise but lack the structure required to translate them into a profitable, long-term approach to managing their machinery and assets.
Based in Limburg, ME+ advised executive teams, plant managers and technical leaders on asset reliability, maintenance excellence and technical organisational development. The consultancy reviewed maintenance processes, optimised maintenance plans and developed data-driven roadmaps designed to reduce unplanned downtime and maintenance costs. As part of the acquisition, co-shareholder Wim Dilliën is transferring his stake. Ronny Hamblok will continue ME+’s expertise and activities within Yontec’s integrated structure.
Over the past few years, Yontec has built a strong market position in technical industrial maintenance, technical staffing, shutdowns, projects, OEM representation and 24/7 interventions. Providing specialised technical capacity remains a key pillar of the business, but will now be complemented by strategic advisory services and organisational development.
“Many companies know where their technical bottlenecks lie, but struggle to implement improvements in a structured and sustainable way,” says Ronny Hamblok. “By linking asset management with engineering, specialised professionals and technical execution, we can not only advise on improvement programmes, but also deliver lasting results.”
Hamblok brings more than twenty years of experience in engineering, operations and maintenance. As Business Lead Asset Strategy, he will be responsible for the further development and integration of these strategic services within Yontec.
“We want to be involved at the decision-making table when customers define their asset strategy, while also having the operational capability to implement that strategy on the shop floor,” says Jonckers. “It is precisely this combination that makes the acquisition strategically important.”
With the acquisition of ME+, Yontec is taking the next step in its ambition to become a leading multidisciplinary partner for industrial companies.
The ambition is clear: maximum uptime at optimal cost.
